Mink Liberation in Sweden

On August 31st, all 2500 minks were liberated from the minkfarm of Lonestig outside Falkenberg. This was the third time this farm was raided.

The farm was also reported to the police by Swedens largest animal rights organisation some weeks ago, after an anonymous activists had filmed the farm. However, after the animal welfare-inspector had come there, he just said, “all fur farms look like this,” and did not take any further action.
